You'll be amazed at what a different world that is! Pass By: Manawainui Gulch, Piilani Hwy, Kula, HI 96790, USAAs the road soldiers on you’ll catch sight of Hawaiian ruins, jagged lava rocks, and mile after mile of wild, uninhabited country. This is considered the backside of Haleakala and we'll stretch our legs over here and take pictures of a beautiful coastline.Pass By: Waiakoa, Kula, HI 96790, USABeautiful Kula upcountry Stop At: Harold Rice Park, Lower Kula Road Turn off highway onto Lower Kula Road to access park., Kula, Maui, HI 96790Enjoy a breathtaking bi-coastal view with temperature always about twenty degrees lower than at our previous stop at Manawainui Gulch.
