We had a wonderful day on this adventure! Our guide Luis was very personable and we learned a lot about the area as he drove us from Porto to the park. As we approached the village in the park he stopped to talk with a villager he knew who needed some help with her wayward sheep. He and my husband hopped out to help with a little sheepherding! We went through the village to get to the place where we would begin our hike. Luis stopped to say hello to several people along the way. It’s clear he cares about the people in the village and they care about him. We hiked to a stunning waterfall. We learned so much about this beautiful area from our guide. After our hike we returned to the village for lunch. It was a delicious feast with a variety of wonderful Portuguese dishes and green wine. After lunch we walked around the village. Again, Luis would chat with the villagers he encountered and he shared some wonderful background about the village with us. We learned about some of the

When researching day trips from Porto, I knew we wanted to visit Geres and happily found Oporto Adventures. You can tell the company places importance on giving back to the community and offsetting their effects on the landscape and it was nice to see/be a part of that process. Luis was extremely knowledgeable about the history, people and wildlife (I know so much about wolves now!) and just all around great conversation. An absolutely beautiful day and wouldnt hesitate to recommend for any other adventures.

Amazing day! Perfect way to experience the park: small hikes to beautiful view points. Luis was a great guide and was super knowledgeable about the area. Definitely recommend!

What a fantastic day and adventure! Ricardo was fabulous! Very knowledgeable, skillful driver and very, very nice person! Absolutely, wonderful! We loved it all - the views, the food and the company of Ricardo. Highly recommended!

Tour manager can make a good trip bad and vice versa. Our tour manager, Afonso was just awesome - full of life and very particular about the safety and well being of passengers. Hats off to him !
