Je me suis faite accueillie par un employé abonné au "Sourire Absent "et '"Je déteste mon travail". Je viens de Montréal et c'est un choc pour moi de vivre pareille situation. D'abord, il a manifesté son impatience lorsque je me suis adressée à lui en anglais. Ensuite, je lui ai demandé, avec coupon à l'appuie, si j'étais au bon bateau: il m'a répondu que tous les bateaux appartiennent à la même compagnie. Je lui ai demandé quand partait le prochain bateau, il m'a répondu que ce serait quand le prochain serait plein. J'ai attendu 20 minutes dans un bateau bondé qui ne décollait pas, et voyant que j'allais manquer une visite subséquente, je suis retournée lui dire que je viendrais au départ suivant: il m'a regardé et détourné la tête en m'ignorant. FInalement je suis revenue prendre le bateau plus tard: on m'a dirigé cette fois-ci vers un bateau qui devait avoir l'Audio guide en anglais - en fait, le seul tour guidé en bateau de tout le Port avec un audio guide anglais. We were looking forward to this boat tour! We’ve done them in other cities & have enjoyed them…till this one. Part of the package was to include being able to purchase head-sets so that we could hear the tour in English. The man at the gate informed us there were no head-sets to purchase…he actually seemed confused by the notion. I was able to decipher some of what was being said as I am currently learning Deutsch, but I couldn’t exactly tell my husband what was being said because then it would disrupt the group. We couldn’t take any photos because of the water on the windows…and even the dry parts of the windows were streaked to the point that the photos were ruined. We were so happy we only picked the 1 hour tour!

There was no headphones available, and as we don’t speak German we didn’t understand anything being said. Also, we booked a cruise to see different things in Hamburg, but this cruise only focused on the container part.
