Traveler Reviews

Found this trip very disappointing, the key work 4WD is totally misleading and misrepresented, the most we experienced was some dirt roads, one or 2 creeks that most normal all wheel or 4wd vehicles could have navigated with absolute ease. Picked up at 7:30am, provided with a very basic fruit tasting that cost the provider $10, dropped off in Kuranda at about 11-11.30 am, had to wait for hours until the train left between 2-2.30pm, which only cost $100 out of $427.00, totally not worth it. Would not recommend this trip waste of money. The guide was knowledgeable though.

Top notch great guide every informative Evan seen a baby casawary termite case must but local made have from the yum yum yum

We had an excellent driver, willing to accommodate a small group of people. It’s best to do this tour after it rains. The waterfalls were beautiful. Don’t miss this trip.

We spent half a day with Darryl and it was one of the best tours we have ever been on. He is so knowledgeable about the area, and shares his experiences and history of the places you go. We can't wait to book a tour with him when we return next February!

It was a wonderful afternoon with John, our tour guide from Discovery Tour Australia. Chris, I was told the owner of the company, gave me very detailed information during my telephone enquire. John came sharp on time and opened with big warm smile and sincere handshake. On the way to the site seeing points, John gave us all the details and as informative as a biologist. He is one of the most passionated tour guides that I have met. We enjoyed the afternoon very well and the tea and cookies that served by John was also delicious.
