The staff and guides were very friendly and enjoyable experience, if you’re running out of time and Costa Rica and I have to leave at a San Jose this is a perfect little last day trip to go on not too far out of San Jose. Had a great time zip lining and then add a beautiful steak dinner too at the restaurant.

I booked the 12:30PM ziplining tour over the phone for my father, who is 79 years old and myself. Coming from San Jose, I anticipated a 40 minute drive to the canopy tour. Due to traffic delays, we did not arrive to Canopy Carpintera until 12:55PM. I called Canopy Carpintera and they informed me that there were no worries and they would wait for us. Our tour guides were Diego and Juan, I was so impressed and thrilled with the both of them. At my father's age, 79 years old, it is difficult for him to climb some of the 1000 steps up to start the tour. Diego and Juan provided him with a stick to assist with the hike, and then also helped him climb the steps after he grew tired. They were so helpful through the entire tour. One of the guides ziplined with my father on some of the more difficult lines. These two guides made all the difference in the world, ensured the safety for our group of 7, and pointed out several sloths we encountered during the tour. I have been on three di

I arrived 90 minutes early and enjoyed a delicious filet mignon at the Chirraca Steak House located on-site. When the tour started, we were given our disinfected equipment and headed up to the first platform. The 15-minute hike is a bit challenging if you are not used to the thinner air at 9,000' elevation. Just go at your own pace, and you will get there. Diego, Indi, Alejandro, and other guides were fabulous. They ensured we always had followed the safety guidelines. The staff made it a fun and exciting day. Eleven zip lines and two rappels make this an extraordinary value. I hope to return next time I am in Costa Rica.

Great experience, crew was awesome and fun! .They made me feel comfortable along the way and had me overcome my fear for ziplining as this was my first time:) Totally recommended for anyone ! (beginners, young children, etc)
