I cannot say it enough what a great experience this was! The business is family ran. Stephanie and Tony are wonderful! We didn’t feel like clients, we felt like family. They had us laughing and enjoying the nature all around us. My two daughters 6 and 12 both loved this adventure. The meal was amazing! Tony is a great chef! The matriarch of the family, Elizabeth, came out and talked to us as well. She told us about life in Seychelles and her family. We learned so much about Seychelles and nature. We highly recommend visiting them!

Amazing view, amazing vibes, amazing art, just an awesome way to do something not involving water in these magic islands. Quick 5 minute drive up the hill from Beau Vallon leads you to a magic garden of herbs and flowers and, best of all, you'll leave with the best souvenir possible from a place where quality souvenirs are hard to find. Lots of tacky made in China garbage in the shops but for a real Seychellois souvenirs there is the coco de mer and there is a personalized pareu using a unique technique Tony's ancestors pioneered. Fantastic experience with the Roots Seychelles team! My 3 and half daughter and I had a great time in the hills overlooking Beau Vallon bay. From the warmly welcome, picking up of flowers and various leafes and ferns, placing theses and painting the pareos, the team did a super job with no pressure at all! We were offered fresh local fruit juice, coconut water, local banana fritters during the ‘drying time’ break. All in all an amazing experience, definitely recommended !

We were there for an art experience, and got way more than expected. The sun printing experience was fun, and all three children of mine (8, 3 and 2 years old) had a blast. But that was just not it. Stephanie and Tony were amazing hosts and offered nothing less than unparalleled hospitality. The two hosts were genuine, pleasant and generous. Stephanie served us delicious fresh passion fruit juice, while Tony served us fresh coconut juice and butter, all were served with sweet small stories and lots of jokes. My kids felt like they were playing and talking with their parents’ friends. Furthermore, Tony was also kind enough to offer us a ride down the hill which we very much needed with 3 kids around. It’s always nice to feel gratitude when surrounded by locals, and that’s what the two amazing hosts did. Thanks Stephanie and Tony.
