My wife and I participated in this tour in October. Katie was our guide and she did a really good job of making us feel comfortable and teaching us the basics of SUP since it was our first time trying this activity. I would recommend this tour if you are considering SUP while on Maui.

Peg was absolutely the best. The lesson was great, but the island history was even better. The best part was the pictures that she took, absolutely fantastic and truly captured the activity. I could not recommend this enough!

Our girls had a wonderful experience. They loved being on the water with their guide. She was very helpful.

Really was a private lesson...our granddaughter was the only participant. Amanda, her instructor, was excellent. Very patient. Had her up and paddling in a very short time. Peg, the owner and our primary contact, was easy to work with and went our of her way to make everything happen!! Highly Recommend!!

My husband and I live in NorCal where SUP is commonplace at Lake Tahoe and we were interested in giving it a go during our honeymoon in Hawaii. We booked a private SUP session with Peg during whale watching season and boy were we in for a treat! I think the whales took pity on me as the water was a bit rough that morning and I was battling seasickness as we worked our way to the areas the whales were last seen. Peg was very empathic and did her best to help me feel better. I am not the most coordinated person and it takes me a good 15-30 minutes to really get the hang of something, and that was my experience with SUP. Don't get frustrated with yourself - you're teaching your body new movements/motions that you're not used to. Ask as many questions as you can and don't be afraid to utilize Peg for guidance. Confidence is also key! Also: The photos that Peg took are AMAZING! Some of the best shots in all the "excursions" that we did during our 2 weeks in Hawaii.
