Traveler Reviews

Copenhagen was a stop on our Baltic Sea cruise and we wanted to rent bikes to make it easy to see all the sights. We took the bus from the cruise ship into the central part of the city and this bike shop was only a block from the bus stop. They opened early and were very accommodating and easy to work with. Bike riding is a great way to see the city and this was a great place to get the bikes.

I cannot review the bike rental company itself, as my family and I did a bike tour of Copenhagen thru Nova Fairy Tale tours, which meets and rents bikes from this company/location. The bike tour by Nova Fairy Tales was excellent. However, our plane was delayed and we didn’t have time to drop off our luggage prior to arriving for our bike tour. We called the tour company, which said we could store our luggage at the bike rental shop, likely for a fee, so we expected to pay something. After our tour we were charged 360 DKK for our four bags of luggage and two backpacks to sit in the corner during our tour- which is equivalent to around $50 or €50. Not to mention there was a small sign tucked in the corner advertising luggage storage for 1€ per bag per hour- which would have been €18 for the three hour tour. A total rip-off. So yes do a bike tour, but leave your luggage elsewhere if you need to drop it off beforehand!!
