We did the afternoon whale watch, which was a once-in-a-lifetime experience guided by professional and knowledgeable guides. It was safe and fairly smooth sailing and we got to see a large pod of spotted dolphins, then a group of very active whales. We were lucky with the wildlife but it was truly amazing to see them very close to our boat. Amy and Pat taught us a lot about the creatures and answered all of the questions we were throwing at them.

My family and I enjoyed the intimate whale trip very much. Heather told us about the whales and their habits and shared much information with my grandson which he enjoyed very much. The captain handled the boat very good and we all loved seeing the whales and the sunrise! It was a great way to start the day.

We were only on Maui for a couple days and decided to get up early and spend a morning whale watching. We're very glad we did, and Ultimate Whale Watching gave us an unforgettable experience. The guides were knowledgable, friendly, and most importantly, excellent at positioning the boat for maximum whale views! We saw about 4 different groups of whales, and a mother whale and her calf were kind enough to get close and put on a show for us. We would absolutely book another adventure with this group next time we're in the area.

Our tour guides Amy and Sarah were excellent! My boyfriend and I loved hearing their educational commentary as we scouted whales all around us! We were able to spot around a dozen different whales who loved to show off for our tour boat! It was a wonderful and captivating experience.

My wife and I love whales and we always book the Ultimate Whale Watch tour when in Maui. We have gone on many many whale watches and this one is always our favorite. Today we were with long time friends, and the tour did not disappoint. Emma was our captain and Hanna our whale expert and both were entertaining, educational, funny, and just perfect. The two hours went by so fast but not before we spent some real quality time with a new momma and her baby. Emma and Hanna transformed this tour from just “seeing whales” to being with the whales in their natural habitat. We truly experienced how a new momma gives so much love to her “little” one.
