The kayak trip was very serene and our guide Michael was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna found in the area.

Really nice kayak tour! We were lucky because we had a private tour. Guide showed us a lot of birds and the view at the beach was amazing.

Such a great afternoon! We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed pace and guidance from Christopher. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history and wildlife. We saw 4 types of herons, variety of birds and some howler monkeys. Highly recommend.

Prepare yourself for a long ride/night and endless walking up and down a dark beach looking for nesting turtles. Our guide did not seem as knowledgeable as other guides out that might and also managed to pick up the wrong group of people and left some others out. This caused delays and getting the two groups together and delayed our departure and turtle hunting. We did manage to find two nesting turtles courtesy of another tour group not due to our guide. That somewhat made up for what was otherwise a disappointing evening.

All of our experiences with Carrillo tours were wonderful and unforgettable! It was low season and they were able to provide us with transportation to and from the beach from our AirBNB. Everyone with Carrillo were very pleasant and so accommodating. David was our shuttle guy to and from the airport. He and Christopher also did our Kayaking and Snorkeling off Playa Samara. Christopher did our Nature Hike which we enjoyed immensely. Both David and Christopher are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do! Ezequiel drove us to our Spa day in Punta Islita and many times to the beach. He was always so pleasant and couldn't do enough to make our time wonderful! William also picked us up one night after dinner when we were unable to get a taxi!
