Traveler Reviews

Taking this tour is the best thing you can do in Chiang Rai. Pick up was at 8 am, drop off at 6 pm. No way I would have been able to see half of what we’ve seen if I were to do it myself with the taxis. We saw a lot: initially I wanted to see the white temple and it was indeed, beautiful, then we saw the blue temple, the black museum (highly recommend- somewhat disturbing but very unique , you will be amazed by the quality and creativity), stopped for lunch, visited the tea plantation, the opium museum (another quite unusual place, highly recommend), and ended at the Golden triangle. The entry fees are extras but not everything on a list has a fee. We skipped long neck village as we saw it before. The golden triangle is 75 km away, so there is quite a bit of driving. I am very happy with the tour!

we did a private day tour and it included the white temple. Was absolutely beautiful. A lot of visitors but still tranquil and gave a place for reflection and peacefulness.

Very good trip. Small group. Very individual. It would be better to pay for the food yourself, but then get a better choice.

I joined this trip last sunday. I liked it mainly because it was a small group which consists of only 3 people. Probably due to the covid outbreak. Our tour guide, Ghee Ghee (i hope i spelled her name correctly) provides all the background history of all the places we went to. We started off by going to the White Temle and there was hardly any people because we arrived there early. Which is good for those instagram moments. My only gripe is only the weather (out of their control). The air quality was really bad (more than 400 AQI). Hence, the visibility was not really good. All in all, I would recommend people to jin this tour group.

We really enjoyed this trip, although it is s very long day. We saw so many beautiful things and learned a lot from our guide (Joe). The lunch which was included was delicious and in a lovely spot. It is a bit disappointing that there is so much smog in this region - farmers burning their fields in nearby Laos, apparently. Beautiful sites such as the Golden Triangle can only be imagined through the sepia-coloured fog. One other thing is that when the guide is wearing a mask, it is quite difficult to understand everything. Of course I understand why this has to be the case and this is in no way a complaint. In fact, the wearing of a mask by a tour guide is to protect the group. A very good-value trip!
