This was our 2nd time exploring the Douro with CM Tours. We travelled from Porto this time. We were staying in Douro last year. Had a fantastic time. The wineries were great as was lunch at the restaurant at Quinta de la Rosa. Our driver, Ivo, was amazing. We met him last year and requested him again. He is very knowledgeable about wine, wine-making and the region. He’s also got a really fun personality, tells great stories and speaks perfect English. We so enjoyed the trip and look forward to doing it again sometime. Thanks, Ivo. You’re the BEST!!!

The wineries we visited were interesting and the cruise on the Douro River was very enjoyable. And our guide and driver Ivo was simply the best. He was very informative and personable, and always making sure the pace of the tour was fine for us.
