ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productStop At: Tamarindo Beach, Tamarindo Costa RicaDepending on boat availability you will either meet on the beach in Tamarindo or you will be picked up at your vacation rental and taken to Flamingo Bay where you'll take a small skiff out to board the catamaran. After everyone has boarded, you'll set sail. You'll be sailing on a custom built catamaran specifically designed to be the ultimate in day charters. The boat is packed with amenities including a full open bar, trampolines for sunning and lounging, a shaded main salon, fresh water shower, a clean restroom, well maintained snorkel gear, kayaks and a stairway to the sea and with plenty of space to relax. The daily sailing trips allow you to spot local marine life from above the water as well as from below; encountering sea turtles, manta rays, dolphins and whales… and that is before we've started snorkeling. The tour allows time for a little of everything. You will be able to enjoy the exhilarating performance of a catamaran, lounge in the sun, use our kayaks and swim in the warm tropical water while spotting dolphin, rays and reef fish. Sunset was amazing food was good especially the banana bread. In the ad it said snacks and beverages but it was a filling meal which I enjoyed. Things I did not like kayak they only had one on a full boat did snorkeling and saw nothing in the water. Water was dirty and not clear the tour guides were friendly and engaging. William was accommodating took pictures for us and he catered to our needs.

I booked a surprise private sunset catamaran cruise for my friend's birthday during our time in Tamarindo. Denise was wonderful to work with as we were booking the tour and answered all questions I had. The instructions were very easy to follow and we were able to meet up with our guides easily at the meeting location we were sent. Our two guides, Jon Luca and Maui were incredible. They were personable, attentive, funny, and knowledgeable. They really made our experience great. The boat was clean and beautiful and all of the snacks and drinks provided were perfect. We had the most amazing day on the water and my friend told me it was the best birthday she could have asked for. I would highly recommend Xplore Costa Rica for the sunset catamaran tour and would book again in a heartbeat.

Our family visited Costa Rica June 6, 2021 thru June 12, 2021 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. All of our children and their families (14 people) came along with us. We used Xplore Costa Rica to help plan our trip and book all of our excursions, which included the Catamaran Sunset Cruise, surfing lessons, fishing, zip lining, tubing and horseback riding. Everyone of our excursions were as advertised and Denise was amazing. She was very accessible, before our arrival and during our stay in Costa Rica.
Would definitely use Xplore Costa Rica again in planning our next trip and strongly suggest allowing Denise to assist you in your planning.

We did the sunset catamaran and were incredibly impressed with the boat, service, and crew! And Xplore was very responsive and helpful! Definitely would recommend!

This activity was amazing. We had the best time. The crew (Joy, Jesus, and Josue) was incredible. I would love to come back and do this again
