We had an awesome time tubing with the Colorado Adventure team! We were referred to them by another tour service when we mentioned we wanted to do tubing while in Guanacaste and they quickly arranged to pick us up from the restaurant we were having lunch at, and for a very reasonable price (American dollars or card were both accepted), took us on a 4-5km tubing adventure. They gave us a quick tutorial on the tubes and the river, and put our phones and things in a waterproof bag, and we were off, just the two of us and our guide. The river was awesome, some parts were slow, some parts had little rapids that were quite thrilling. Our guide kept us together and safe, and we had an awesome time. He even carried my tube at the end as we had a short little uphill trek to do from the river back to where the truck was waiting for us. It was a true Pura Vida day.

Our tour to Rincon de la Veijo with Xplore Costa Rica was awesome from start to finish. The driver picked us up on time and took us to the location with a quick break in Liberia. The tour itself was amazing. Each part was well worth it. Ziplining was fun and exciting. The leaders were great and helpful with my 7 year old and 9 year old sons. Lunch was great, horseback riding was about 40 minutes and the tubing on the river was awesome. Way longer than I had expected. The mud baths and hot springs were the perfect ending to the tour. We were all exhausted and returned safely to Tamarindo in time for dinner. It was about 11 hours from start to finish and worth every penny. I highly recommend booking this tour through Xplore Costa Rica.

We went with a group of 4. We were assured that we can choose only the activities we were interested in. My 11 year old didn’t go zip lining. It was difficult to meet up with the rest of group later on.
