Traveler Reviews

Terrific experience. Scenery is stunning throughout and the trail is in great condition, easy to ride. Loads of historical info along the way. Bike It Now! organised everything, accommodation, luggage transfers etc, and it all went smoothly. WEven the weather was kind! (Mostly)

Everyone in this team went out of there way to be helpful and make our holiday fun. Our only reservation came from where we began the ride. Clyde is the Bike it Now base. We started in Cromwell and anticipated a briefing starting from there. The lake Dunstan track is a fantastic ride and if the briefing was in Cromwell rather than Clyde we think it would have suited our journey better. Clyde became an anticlimax. Our thanks to the accommodation providers for the great welcome and facilities they shared with us. Be wary of Waipiata on a friday night. Only fellow riders to greet you at the Tussock Lodge and we fluked the last table reservation on a busy night- slow, slow service. So much for prebooking and a link between accommodation and only meal provider in the town. The bikes we had rolled well and were comfortable, fortunately we had our own light so when the ebike light failed we carried on regardless. The bag drop was efficient and helpful, the drivers we meet super nice and the w

We did two rides. The Dunstan trail and the Roxburgh gorge. The Dunstan trail was awesome great scenery and well groomed trails. The Roxburgh gorge was a different type of scenery but still really good, the trail was not as smooth but still well maintained. We hired bikes from Bike it now and had one ebike and one standard bike, both were very good condition and staff explained how to use the ebike and getting to and from the trails. Shuttles were on time with collections and the drivers very friendly and informative. No hesitation in recommending to people looking for bikes.

Lois at Bike it Now was great to deal with. Nothing was to much trouble. Loved our accommodation. The hosts were very helpful and generous. Would definitely recommend doing the trail and this company.

The team at Bike it Now were amazing. Right from bag drop to arrival back, they couldn't have been more professional or friendly. They even checked our bikes over pre-start to make sure they were good to go! These are the only guys to use if you want a hassle-free trip and great accommodation Thanks Bike it Now
