This zip line & waterfall combo excursion was absolutely great! Carlos & Angel greeted us outside the gates of the Amber Cove port (it is a bit of a walk to get there, but they sent us very detailed instructions, & it was well worth it!). Carlos was a delightful guide on our bus ride. Angel was our guide for the zip lines & falls, & he was fantastic! ChiChi joined him as our additional guide at Damajagua, and he was so much fun - he threw rocks at mango trees to get us some delicious fresh mangos to eat as we hiked! The zip lines we super fun & the views were beautiful! Jumping & sliding down the waterfalls was absolutely awesome! Our 2 teenagers said it was their favorite excursion ever!

Considering the recent news in the DR, we were not sure we made a good decision to keep our plans. HOWEVER, our experience was absolutely the most amazing time with the team of guides we had. It all started with meeting Carlos at the entrance of the cruise terminal (we booked directly with him instead of through our cruise line.....well worth it and highly recommend that believe it or not). Carlos our guide for the day along with our driver took our group of 7 to the national park where we were prepped for our hike up to the top of the first waterfall. The hike was definitely a moderate hike - but in DR time it really was only 5 more minutes to the top! We were fed fresh mango off the tree. DELICIOUS (we became known as the Mango Family). We had plenty of water bottles offered to us. Carlos, Danny and Juan stayed with us the entire time and took us down each waterfall all while recording and taking photos of us. Excellent excursion and an even better tour guide Carlos. We highly recommend this!!! Waterfalls were fun, the fresh picked mango was delicious, and Carlos was with us the whole time.

I have visited the Dominican Republic in the carnival cruise, as always, I do not like to do anything with the port, so look on the internet and against iguana mama, talk with my family to do the waterfall 27 but as I have two teenagers we decided haver only 7 waterfall and zip. everything was fantastic our guide David was fantastic and fun, he was always attentive to us that everything was fine and to go to the boat with the time on time .. I recommend iguana mama for any person who does not want to do the carnival excursion. iguana mama gives us Rom, water, food, excellent food, thanks iguana mama, and thanks to david, is an excellent guide
