Disfruté de un día maravilloso con José Pablo. Las vistas eran hermosas e interesantes. Disfruté especialmente el paseo por las afueras del Volcán Turrialba. El paisaje era hermoso, siendo una combinación de flujo de lava, arena negra y un nuevo crecimiento verde de vida vegetal. José Pablo aportó mucho conocimiento y compartió mucha información. Fue agradable y fácil compartir tiempo y conversación juntos, atravesando temas de historia, política, arte, agricultura, comida y el mundo natural. José Pablo también tiene buen oído y buen ojo para observar la vida salvaje. ¡Mientras conducíamos, escuchó el sonido de un "keel-billed tucán"! Se detuvo y, efectivamente, señaló el pájaro para que ambos lo viéramos. Este fue un día memorable para mí. Gracias a todos, incluido todo el personal de Oropopo por ayudar a organizar este tour.

Tuvimos la suerte de visitar el volcán Irazu,las ciudades de Cartago,Aquiares, y Turrialba con uno de los mejores guías que puedas encontrará en Costa Rica. Nos vamosmuy contentos no solo por el buen trato,la amabilidad y la profesionalidad,sino también por el cariño y la pasión que nos transmitió José Pablo por su patria y su trabajo,y sin duda nos quedamoscon ganas de volver.

What a great & safe way to visit the must see volcanoes in Costa Rica. Especially during Covid we were happy to have our own personal guide/driver and not have to share the car with other passengers. Our guide Jose was super knowledgeable and made sure we were well informed. He was completely flexible with any of our requests. It was very interesting to drive through neighborhoods and experienced the various forest types from dwarf to cloud. Besides the volcanoes we also walked through a coffee plantation and stopped at the Basilica of our Lady of the Angels. It was completely worth it.

What a wonderful way to see volcanoes from San Jose! Especially during Covid we felt very comfortable in our own private car and tour guide for this excursion. Jose was a fantastic guide with lots of information about everything we were looking at! Besides volcanoes we also stopped at a coffee plantation and the Basilica de Neustra Senora de Los Angeles. The drive was super scenic going through various climates from dwarf to cloud forests. You will have plenty of photo opportunities. Just ask when you see one! It’s worth the extra cost.
