At the time of confirmation I was told from tomorrow weather will be worst, so tonight you have a good chance to see the northern lights. We did 9 hours of flight to come in Alaska. Today the weather is amazing. I understand mother nature has a big role in this tour but do not give hope to tourists who will be disappointed with no sleep in a full seats van. I would suggest Viator to refund at least 50% of purchase price in case of a negative nature outcome.

We went to see the Northern Lights on Sept 18, 2021 but there was no Northern Lights. We spent $550 to see nothing but a full moon and stars. Our friends who came here 2 weeks ago said the same thing that there was no Northern Lights and only in the month of March - May when there is Northern Lights. Why the agency like Viator sells Northern Lights tour if there’s no Northern Lights?

I booked this tour with Scott and it was an amazing experience. Scott is a friendly and knowledgeable man about not only the northern lights but all of Alaska in general. Of course the northern lights are never guaranteed but we chose a day where our chances of viewing them were high and sure enough on the way to the final destination we got glimpses along the way. I saw the Milky Way and shooting stars. Then after watching the clear sky for a bit the lights came out and were dancing in the sky!! It was a great experience and truly breathtaking! Thank you Scott for being such an amazing tour guide, I hope to see you in the future ??
