Traveler Reviews

Guarin was an excellent tour guide. The day was so wonderful, the wineries were beautiful and everyone was so friendly and accomodating. A must do if you’re visiting Hobart!

We had a private tour for 4 of us and it was fantastic from beginning to end. Jack our tour guide was brilliant. He gave just enough information about the area and wineries and was such a wonderful person to spend the day with. The wineries we visited were a really great mix and we also got to see a whisky and gin distillery at the end. Communication was fantastic right from the beginning. Totally recommend this tour operator!

Partner and I took a winery tour in the Coal Valley late October. Visited some of the smaller wineries open without cellar doors yet for a weekend festival. Guarin was a great host despite the wettest day in Hobart's history (according to all the locals), called ahead to change our lunch to accommodate for the weather & helped with shipping some of our spoils at the end. Despite 6 venues (incl. cheese and lunch venue) did not feel rushed at all and very personable (only 4 total on our tour).

Really enjoyed this tour and our friendly, knowledgeable guide. Really enjoyed Derwent and Pooley wineries but a little ho hum on Puddleduck. Pretty kitsch and the owner rather bombastically self promoting although I liked the sparkling and the platter was quite nice. Also, don't bother with the chocolate or fudge at the cheesery visited, as lacked flavour but the cheeses were up to standard. All in all, a fun and professionally conducted tour. Thanks a bunch.

We had an excellent tour of the coal Valley! Our tour guide Fletcher was very informative and the smaller wineries we went to were amazing! Both Brintop and Every Man and His Dog were awesome!
