Overview
ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productStop At: Carlisle Bay, Bay Street, Bridgetown BarbadosCarlisle Bay is a crescent shaped bay and natural harbour on the west coast of Barbados. As the main harbour adjoining the capital city Bridgetown, Carlisle Bay was once full of merchant vessels, particularly those of the British. Today you'll find catamarans and luxury yachts anchored here.Duration: 15 minutesPass By: Brandons Beach, BarbadosBrandon's Beach is located just on the outskirts of the capital city of Bridgetown, on the west coast of Barbados. The waters here are very calm, making it a fantastic spot for swimming and sea-bathing. Rent a beach lounger and umbrella for a relaxing beach day. Watch the catamarans sailing languidly up the coast, taking guests to snorkel and swim with sea turtles. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the tables under the shading trees.Stop At: Animal Flower Cave, North Point BarbadosThe Animal Flower Cave is located at the most northerly point of Barbados in the parish of St.Lucy. The name "Animal Flower Cave" comes from the sea anemones found in the pools of the cave. Some of these pools are deep enough for you to swim in. There are also several openings looking out to sea, offering spectacular views!Duration: 45 minutesStop At: Bathsheba, Bathsheba, Saint Joseph Parish, BarbadosLegend has it that Bathsheba, wife of King David, bathed in milk to keep her skin beautiful and soft. Legend also says that the surf covered white waters of Bathsheba, Barbados rich in minerals and life is said to resemble Bathsheba's bath in both appearance health-giving value. This is the rugged east coast of Barbados, where visitors come to breathe the air, soak in the invigorating Bathsheba Pools and feel alive.Duration: 45 minutesPass By: Ragged Point, BarbadosRagged Point is the most easterly point of the island and offers a spectacular view of the rugged coastal scenery along almost the entire east coast of Barbados. In fact, on a clear day you can see all the way up the coastline to the northern points of the island such as Cove Bay and Pico Tenerife.Off the coast lies Culpepper Island, a tiny island that can be reached by swimming at low tide.Located at Ragged Point is one of four lighthouses on the island, the others being found at South Point, Needhams Point and Harrison Point. Note that the Ragged Point lighthouse is not open to the public. There are several small bays along this coast, but they are not easy to access and have very strong currents. You should NOT attempt to swim here. You can enjoy a stroll along the clifftops where you'll be rewarded with exhilarating breezes and beautiful views. You'll often see locals along the clifftops fishing.Stop At: Bottom Bay, Harrismith BarbadosThe beach is semi enclosed by high coral cliffs, providing a panoramic view of the south shore. The scene is completed by the presence of tall palm trees that add to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the bay. Always a popular picnic spot, it is also becoming a popular place to live and a number of homes are being built on the tops of the cliffs overlooking the beach and ocean. People who live there report spotting turtles and whales in the waters below the rocks. Bathing here is not recommended, as the waves are very strong, and great care should be shown by those who choose to do so.Duration: 25 minutes
