As the lava from the West Maui Volcano poured into the ocean, fierce wind and waves forced it back and it cooled into a formation that resembles great black teeth. Makaluapuna Point, as it's also called, was created from one of the last lava flows on Maui. However, the lava is a little different from the rest of the lava on Maui, as it is much lighter, denser, and fine-grained. Duration: 30 minutes

This was a rough way to spend a day on vacation. Firstly, we read the email instructions and the instructions on the reservation multiple times, and never found anywhere that said we had to have closed toed shoes on. Upon arriving, this was apparently absolutely mandatory. We didn’t have a car with us so we had to walk somewhere and buy shoes. It took us over an hour and a half, was a complete waste of time and money on vacation and was NOT well received. The bikes themselves are cool, and fun to ride. However, this is not the place to ride them. Most of the trip is on a busy Highway littered with junk and at times way too limited in space for both cars and bikes, which is the opposite of a fun relaxing day. There is literally no where on the map where you can can be somewhat off the beaten path and away from vehicles and the masses. We tried to make the best of this day at the beach and take advantage of the snorkeling portion, which was the only thing that kept this from being a com

We had a fantastic time touring on our E Bike. Bikes are easy to use & Kylie was great explaining them. Don’t expect that the bike does all the work, you still need to petal. We enjoyed the self guided tour and enjoyed a few of the recommended stops longer that we were not able to see all the stops. We wanted to rent them a second day but sadly had to leave. Highly would recommend.

Loved the E-bike! So cool to ride all over the place! Good all day workout for sure, yet got the speed from the throttle when we needed it! Snorkeling some beautiful waters too!

Forget his name...but the guy in the shop was a really good guy...explained everything answered questions and off we went...the bikes appear to be brand new.. ... work really well..long charge even after all the steep inclines we rode only went down one to 2 bars...there are locks to go with the bikes for ease of stopping with no worries of bike disappearing....we will rent again when we come back for sure....Thanks Kino's bikes!!!

I liked going up snd down the coast. I think the directions could be more explained. I got there in the end but did it backwards.
