Traveler Reviews

Just want to start by saying the crew were amazing. Especially Phoebe and Simon. Would definitely do it again. Best great barrier reef tour in Cairns.

Highly recommend if you wanna go diving on the outer reef! The staff is incredible, super caring and knowledgeable. The boat gets pretty full with passengers so I was really impressed with the level of personalised treatment! Very organised, food was AMAZING, dive-sites were TERRIFIC and on the way back to cairns you get a very nice marine biology presentation. Shout out to divemaster Darcy for being a legend and guiding our group, but overall every member of the crew was top level! Love going diving with companies that are all about customer experience! 10/10. Well done guys!

Earlier in the year my family and I travelled to cairns for a family holiday and attended one of their reef tours. While on the tour myself, partner, mum and brother took part in the scuba dive recently being certified while dad snorkelled. The whole experience was amazing, the food, the staff; the equipment was second to none. Whilst enjoying our time one of the staff noticed my enthusiasm towards conservation, particularly one of our own wonders in Australia, the reef. After having a chat to one of the dive masters he had told myself and my partner about a wonderful new program they had put together to allow divers to get a taste of the conservation they are constantly trying to uphold with in Passions of Paradise and other organisations they partner with to assist with education and preservation. I was immediately interested along with my partner, mum and brother. The day started like our initial dive with our kit set up and a general run down of what to expect. What happened next

So... wifey fell a little bit in love with our instructor Simon (aka 'Dougal'!) ?? Apart from that... conditions were great, the group was small & professionalism of the entire crew was evident from the moment we set foot on board. An amazing cruise/ scuba experience. Keep doing what you do ?????

Definitely the best money we spent on our trip to Cairns. Crew were friendly and professional. Simon was our fabulous dive instructor and kept us safe the entire time (a young Dougal Mackenzie - for those who watch Outlander!). The reefs were stunning. We saw a epaulette shark which was awesome. Yummy lunch from on-board chef Leo. Great information session about the reef and ecosystem from Phoebe. Fantastic experience. Thank you Passions of Paradise!
