This tour was the highlight of our trip to Queenstown. The journey down Skippers Canyon had been on our ‘to do’ list for years and is one of those activities that makes New Zealand a bit different. Our guide, Wolfie was an extremely competent driver and a mine of information on the geography and history of Skippers. When we said that some of my wife’s ancestors were early settlers in Skippers he went out of his way to discuss the history of the settlement. We found the graves of my wife’s great great grandparents. So many thanks to Wolfie; the tour was excellent and is highly recommended.
