The saying, “you get what you pay for” couldn’t be more accurate, my simple advise is spend a bit more money and hire a real professional photo/videographer. My first red flag should’ve been upon initial contact after booking. I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend in Maui and wanted to capture the moment on video so I reached out to set up the shoot. Adam immediately tried to up-charge his fee to $500 claiming the need for additional staff, lighting, etc.) Needless to say I opted not to do the proposal on camera and proposed right before our scheduled photoshoot time. Onto the photoshoot, after some miscommunication over the meeting spot we finally got to meet Adam, we were battling “daylight” so we understood the need to work quick which we did (Adam was actually a really cool guy to work with thats why Im not giving zero stars). Adam was fantastic to work with. The weather for our shoot wasn’t perfect (cloudy and periods of rain). Adam was positive, optimistic and confident the shoot would turn out well. It turned out great! Well beyond what we could have hoped for considering. He was very methodical with his approach and his experience showed as we moved through the shoot quickly, but never felt rushed. Following the shoot Adam didn’t feel the need to immediately take off. He took his time to discuss the editing process and when we could expect to receive the completed video. Following that he gave us recommendations on restaurants and more. I would absolutely recommend Adams services for this and any other of his experiences.
