Traveler Reviews

A great place to visit and learn about bees, beekeeping and how this form of food production can be successful not just in commercial terms, but socially too. If you have time during your stay in Copenhagen, make sure that you join the guided tour where you will have the opportunity to see the real hive in action. There is also a shop filled with delicious honey products.

Awesome way to learn about our buzzy friends (bees) and honey production in the city center! The tour includes a lot of talks about urban nature, honey production, and most importantly- you get to see the bee hives and taste the sweet honey! There are a lot of bees buzzing around, but its possible to wear a suit and watch from the distance if you are afraid!

A nice tour around the facilities where you hear about the history, the production and get to meet the bees up close. At the end of the tour there is a good amount of bee products for sale and you get to taste some of the sweet honey. The tour also states the importance of urban nature and how we as people can reconnect to nature and become coproducers of honey.
