Traveler Reviews

My wife and I were visiting from Portugal and wanted an introduction to the city! We really loved this tour. Christian was a fantastic guide and combined historical details about the city, cultural context about life there, and a nice guided stroll through town. We did it our first morning here and used his recommendations for the rest of the trip.

We really loved this visit! We scheduled it for the first day of our trip and Christian, the guide, provided us with a wonderful walking tour, complete with historical detail and cultural context about life in Copenhagen.

My fiancee and I took this tour on the morning of December 1, with Christian as our guide. It absolutely poured the entire time (Christian said it was the worst weather he's ever done it in!), and yet we still had a fantastic experience. We spent a little more time than usual indoors with coffee and wienerbrød, having a wonderful discussion about the culture and history of the city. Even the outdoors walks were enjoyable. Our rain gear definitely got a workout, but the city is just gorgeous, even in the rain.

Very cozy tour with Christian. Good mix of historical background and casual chatting. Did this tour on first day of our holiday and it was a good way to get familiar with the area as well as get lots of recommendations for the remainder of our trip.

This is not your usual out-of-the-history-book tour. Rather, it is a local's perspective on their own city, which makes it much more exciting and interesting. Kim was a great host! He gave us all the tiny interesting facts about every corner of the city. He spiced up his delivery with lots of nitty jokes, and he spent some time with us for a friendly discussion in a cafe. The tour is great value for money as well. It included a total of three visits to cafe's where our guide bought traditional Danish pastries, Danish sweet treats, and finally mulled wine for us, all included in the tour price. This trip is highly recommended, and it is actually exactly how a city tour trip should be! Great job Kim, very hyggelig!
