Traveler Reviews

Martin was very knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful! His familiarity of the Old Port of Montreal is outstanding.

Caroline was so knowledgeable about Montreal history. It was a great morning. We learned so much in just 2 hours.

With only 3 days to spend in Montreal, Christian’s knowledge & suggestions really helped us to learn about the things that were important to us as well as point us to great restaurants, etc. A great use of our time!!

If you really want to see and understand the history and culture of Old Montreal then I strongly suggest this walking tour. My wife & I took this tour in August and loved it. Without a guide you miss too much of the social history that drove the original settlement of Montreal. Our guide (Frederic) was very well informed, he knew the history and culture behind all the monumental statues and buildings on our tour. He brought it all to life, he knew the historical issues and could explain it al in great detail. Highly recommended.

Finally a moment to write a review of Pierre, who gave our group of four a private 3-hour walking tour of Old Montreal this past Fall. Pierre was awesome! A gifted storyteller, he was informative, humorous, organized -- showing us sights, places, and pass-throughs we would never have seen if not with a local guide. Although I have been to Old Montreal several times before, many of the aspects Pierre so engagingly pointed out about its history, art, architecture, and features were entirely new to me. This was one of many high points to our trip! I would recommend Pierre and Guidatour unhesitantly.
