This is the only way to see the island! From the moment that I started communication with Yevette via Email prior to our arrival, I knew that I was in fine hands. We created a grand itinerary for our island personal tour. She listened to requests and added her personal suggestions. She kept us with in our budget and our time frame. The tour she outlined was phenomenal! She even placed in the tour a stop at a local restaurant to experience the cuisine of the island. Our driver, Terry(her husband), was friendly, informative and a pleasure to be with for the day. He gave us information on sites, the island's history and the upcoming independence vote happening on the next day. It was a grand tour! He kept us on our time line without pressuring us to ensure we met out yacht on time. From beginning to end it was a fabulous tour, so well organized and executed. Great job Yevette and Terry!

During our first holiday in Barbados, we were keen to see as much of the island as possible and arranged a private day tour via Yvette, who was extremely helpful in planning an itinerary with us. Yvette turned up at our hotel in an immaculate, air conditioned vehicle and was so welcoming and enthusiastic. Her driving was superb and she took time to point out all the places of interest and to give us a history of the island and explain the culture, without bombarding us with too much information. She was extremely flexible and this gave us the opportunity to make the most of the beautiful weather and visit as many outdoor attractions as we could squeeze into our 5 hour trip. I would highly recommend this family run company - don’t hesitate to book if you wish to explore or just need a taxi to the airport or to take you to a restaurant or supermarket.

Terry and Yvette were amazing! We met Terry on day 1 of our 10 day holiday and he picked us up from the airport and took us to our hotel on the west coast near holetown. We then booked Terry and Yvette again for going to dinner and also for a half day tour. We can highly recommend them both and can’t wait to get back out to see them and Barbados next year!

During our recent trip to Barbados, my wife and I used Tervette Tours & Taxi Service on two occasions, both warranting a 5-star review. First we hired them for roundtrip airport transfers between our hotel and BGI. Upon arrival, Yvette, one of the owners of the wife/husband team, was there to greet us with clearly marked signage and a clean, air-conditioned van awaiting us. For our return trip to BGI, Terry was our driver who was similarly prompt and friendly. However, the most memorable excursion during our time was the private tour of the island with Yvette. Our trip consisted of making a complete circuit of Barbados traveling through the capital of Bridgetown and first up the western coast before descending along the eastern shore. This trip included a wonderful mix of history of the island (chattel houses, colonial architecture, and the unfortunate vestiges of a slavery system) with amazing natural vistas.
