This could not have been more entertaining and informative. Robin knows his stuff and communicates his enthusiasm for the lives of the many inhabitants of Greyfriars Kirkyard with authority and humour. If you want to know about the eminent figures of Edinburgh’s past we highly recommend this tour.

Excellent information, friendly and enthusiastic tour guide. Freezing weather and snow but he carried on like it was just a slight drizzle with barely a coat and a brolly against the harsh December Scottish elements. Would come back (in summer next time hahaha) again as I'm sure there is much more still to know from your human fountain of knowledge x

We booked this tour last minute and when we arrived we found it was just me, my partner and Robin, this was definitely one our highlights of our trip, Robin was so informative and knowledgeable, very easy going was a real delight to walk around a cemetery with. We often went off track talking about other tombs in the graveyard and he even knew about this, so although he had an itinerary to work through he clearly knows about the rest of the graveyard. The booking was in my partner's name and he went out of his way to find people with the same surname that were buried there, which was a lovely touch. This is a must if your visiting. It was a real easier. Thank you so much, Robin.

We booked a last minute tour and when Robin came to meet us, we realised we were the only people on the tour, Robin was great, he was so knowledgeable about the history of Edinburgh and it was a really enjoyable experience. We really liked the fact that he’d got photos to show us and answered all of our questions, you can see how passionate he is about it. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would say it was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you Robin!

My mum, partner and I attended the Greyfriars graveyard tour and our guide Robin made the visit informative and entertaining! There was a great balance of history, folklore and modern references, much recommended!
