Excellent day. Glad we took this day trip to Milford Sound. A long day but our driver Greg made it entertaining and informative + being an excellent driver! The cruise was also very enjoyable - not crowded and was able to move about the boat with ease. Southern Discoveries' excellent service.

Absolutely amazing day!! Beautiful scenery! Beautiful Weather! Knowledgeable Driver! What more could you ask for!! Greg was awesome everything you want from a guide! Funny, knows his facts about the area. Safe driver!! You can tell he genuinely loves his job! Would recommend this tour to everyone! I work on the Interisland ferries & will passing on to pax to experience this! ??????

Top Day. Our bus Driver Greg was absolutely fantastic. Total professional hidden under a heavy veneer of humor. Very knowledgeable and engaging with all the customers. The boat cruise was also great and the picnic lunch was simple and totally enjoyable. Could not have asked for a better day. Thanks very much for such an awesome day

The coach driver was very engaging , fun and lively. That made our coach trip really fun. He took us to great lookout points and made sure we left on time. The cruise trip was beautiful as well. Seeing dolphins was the incing on the cake.. Great trip.

Wow! What a huge day filled with the most stunning scenery and landscape. We chose to travel with southern discoveries to experience the knowledge of the local drivers, and we were not disappointed. Our driver kept us entertained and shared more local knowledge with us than we could have ever hoped for! All the stories and facts made the drive and scenery that much more stunning. We travelled on the smaller bus which was very comfortable, made even better by the skilled driving of our guide. The views out of the bus were amazing, with the large windows and skylight we got to see the mountains and scenery in a way that’s just not possible when driving in a car. The stops along the way were beautiful, and we were spoilt to get to see them during this very quiet post covid time. We even got to see a kea along the way which was a definite highlight of the trip. Finally boarding the cruise we spent almost every second enjoying the views from outside. Milford sound on a rainy day feels li
