Traveler Reviews

Peter, the guide, was excellent, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Loved the visit to Chocolaterie de l'Île d'Orléans, especially the chocolate coated soft ice cream cones!

We visited four different local producers and they were all very high quality, starting with chocolate, then nougat, then cider, and finally wine. Whenever I go on food tours I almost never buy anything. But these were all so delicious I took away souvenirs from almost every visit. I especially loved the incredible nougat. Our very warm tour guide Celine explained everything equally in both French and English. The bus was comfortable and offered gorgeous views of autumn in Quebec, with even a cute sneak peek of Les Chutes-Montmorency

We enjoyed learning the story behind all the culinary items we enjoyed at each stop, as well as learning about the history of the island. Merci beaucoup!

The tour guide was great and the Isle d'Orleans scenery was very interesting, but as to the tour theme itself, it would be better named the "sweets and a little liquid" tour. Mostly things such as chocolate and nougat with miniscule samplings of some ciders and wines. Don't go while hungry or thirsty. Overall, meh.

Celine was a fantastic tour guide. She shared her knowledge of Quebec City and the Island of Orleans, with humor included. It was a relaxing fun-filled day with sweet treats along the way.
