Our tour was 7th Decmber 2021 and started at the Brandenburg Gate with Ernestina (Tina) Searle who was really enthusiastic and informative. Although it was cold (and we had dressed to try and keep warm!) Tina kept up the pace of the sights and information and her extensive knowledge. We saw the Russian Embassy and remains of the Berlin Wall with parts of the death strip still in tact and the Berlin Wall memorial (which I will definately revisit again) and heard all about life in the DDR.
Would definitely recommnd this tour and have done others with Sandemans which are all facinating to see the sights in Berlin and learn about its great history.

We had a fantastic guide named Hanna Schneider (I hope I am not wrong with her name). She was so knowledgeable, fluent and energetic. Although I participated in the past in a similar tour, I learned a lot from Hanna and the 2 hours went by too fast. I do think that the tour should be longer than 2 hours because there are so many interesting things to see in this part of the city.

The best walking tour in the city! The system of only paying in tips (whilst somewhat tough on the tour guides, I can appreciate that) means the quality of guide is consistently high and hilarious. After doing one, we went back repeatedly almost every day for the rest of the trip. Couldn't recommend strongly enough
