Traveler Reviews

We were on the 80' Salish Sea Eclipse Catamaran. It was very comfortable and was so roomy you never felt crowded. A warm enclosed lower deck provided shelter if you got cold and the large upper deck had shelter from the wind if you still wished to be outside. There were 3 naturalists/photographers who provided information about the whales and their activities. It also took the pressure off trying to take photographs with cameras or cell phones and you could just enjoy the experience. These photographs were provided to us via email at no additional charge. They were great. Much better than I could have taken with my cell phone. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see whales as well as seals and sea Lions. Well done to the crew. Capt Bill, Joe, Seanie, Bryttni and Shannon

Seeing a whale do a fantastic and unexpected breach just metres from our boat and feeling the boat 'rock' when the whales gently passed under it, then surface to exhale through their blowholes were the highlights of this life-affirming trip. This bucket-list experience was everything I hoped it would be and more. The team on the boat worked hard to ensure each passenger felt comfortable, safe and gained information about these magnificent creatures that we should all commit to protect. The length of the trip was perfect and we were given the opportunity to see many aspects of the Salish Sea around Victoria Harbour, including an island full of seals. I would recommend this trip highly, it was simply AMAZING.

We saw so many whales and it was so beautiful. We loved the free pictures because we wanted all the memories but wanted to enjoy the moment.

This had to be one of the coolest experiences of my life. We booked the tour a month before coming to Victoria based on the excellent reviews. My mom, aunty, grandma, cousin and myself had the pleasure of taking the Sunset Whale Watching tour and it did not disappoint. The extremely knowledgeable and passionate staff on board made our experience that much better. We saw Orcas, Humpbacks, and Porpoises. Along with seals, and other marine mammals. The time we got to spend with the whales is something I will never forget, and our brilliant guides (Seanie & Brittany) shared so much information and passion for these animals. The captain Bill made for a smooth enjoyable ride and we just had the best time ever. You will not regret this experience. We can't wait to come back. Having individual conversations with both Brittany and Seanie really taught me what wonderful people you have working for your company. They are smart, passionate and fun. Another bonus was being able to attend the Orca

What a magical evening. The water was calm, the boat was really nice, big windows but of course the best part was the whales. On the way out we seen two killer whale fins and honestly I thought that would be it BUT we went on to see two families of killer whales together. 8 . At one point the captain, Bill, turned off the engines and we just sat in the quiet and the whales played around us. I’ll never forget it. The sound of them around us. It was wonderful. Then on the way back we saw two humpback whales kelping. Rolling in the kelp to get the barnickles off them. We learnt so much about the local whales and whales in general. Britany and Seanie were very knowledgable. It gets chilly out there so wear warm clothes. Mind you, you can always grab a hot drink and sit inside.
