Conceived by the Caen Mémorial Museum at the request of the Normandy Region, 'Normandy's 100 Days' was co-directed by the authors of the television documentary series 'Apocalypse, the Second World War' and is a tribute to the men of all nations who fell and to the 20,000 civilians killed during the liberation of Western Europe that gave rise to so much hope.

Avec un billet combiné Arromanches 360, j'ai voulu réserver notre entrée et la visite des familles. J'ai donc dû valider l'heure de visite (10h30) puis choisir l'option de visite guidée des familles. 11h n'était plus disponible, uniquement 14h30. Mais le système ne m'autorisait pas à modifier l'heure d'entrée. J'ai appelé et comme c'est un billet combiné, pas de changement possible. Avec un billet uniquement pour le mémorial, acheté en ligne, ça aurait été possible. C'est inadmissible.

Rarement un "musée" m'aura autant fait réfléchir. Je pense que tout le monde devrait le faire au moins une fois dans sa vie.
Je me rappellerai du message de ce mémorial et je vais essayer de le transmettre aux générations futures.
(Memorial entièrement accessible en fauteuil roulant avec WC adapté.)

Visite sans grand intérêt car on mitraille des images issues d’archives mais sans aucun commentaire, on n’apprend donc rien. De plus le 360 degrés n’apporte pas grand chose. En revanche le petit film qu’on a vu dans le hall en attendant la projection était très intéressant sur le port artificiel d’Arromanches
