Traveler Reviews

I've done city tours all over the world and this is simply one of the best. Mike is knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly loves his subject matter. His education, paired with a chronological approach to the Revolution, brings everything to life.

I am very delayed in writing this! We had the privilege of taking Mike’s tour in August 2021. It was fantastic. He is a great storyteller, and really knows his stuff. We had the unfortunate circumstance of it being a very hot day, but he foundshade for most stops and it was fine! We were there on a getaway, and I won’t hesitate to book again when our kids are old enough to enjoy the history of Boston!

Mike clearly knows an incredible amount about the events leading up to & including the American Revolution. He was able to convey the information & bring the events & historical personages to life for all of us. The tour lasted a little over 3 1/2 hours & included a fair amount of walking, but it was all worth it. Mike's humor & enthusiasm for the subject made the time pass so quickly. If only American history had been presented in this way back when I was in school... :)

AMAZING!! I cannot recommend this enough. It's interesting to see the story in chronological order, as opposed to people rattling off dates at various locations. Mike tells the story with enthusiasm and humor. You can tell he really enjoys what he does. He makes great analogies (I've never heard anyone else compare The American Revolution to Star Wars or Lord of the Rings) and even comes prepared with visual aids. The history teacher in me was thrilled and had a fabulous time. It's worth every penny. PS: Listen to his food recommendations. He knows what he's talking about.

We all have learned a skeletal version of what took place at the start of the American Revolution but Mike does a phenomenal job of filling in all of the relevant blanks--and he does it in an extremely entertaining way! What a fantastic 3.5 hour tour of the heart of Boston. So much history. So much intrigue. So much fun! A MUST SEE! I Highly recommend this tour.
