I had no idea what to expect and was a bit worried to be doing it by myself. But when arriving the staff were super friendly, professional and put me at ease. Had a blast, felt safe and really enjoyed the whole experience. The driver was exceptional??????????

Excellent experience, glad I read reviews of all the jet boat experiences in the area, Shotover Jet came tops and they definitely did not disappoint. I’m glad I also opted for these guys and gals. All the staff very welcoming , friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. What a great time. Due to Covid obviously business all over is a little bit quiet, but staff made sure they could consolidate everyone together so we would not miss out. Instead of the 1pm I was moved to 3pm, but it’s understandable as business need to make some money. I mean the boats are not cheap at $500k plus each and staff wages etc. Was glad to support a NZ business while travelling around the South Island for a break. Nardia was a great driver and full of jokes, I forget the little photographers name but she was adorable and funny. The ride was exhilarating and fast, yes we got wet and the 360’s were awesome. A fun ride and a privilege to get on the river to see the beautiful scenery. I ride itself was a little more tame than I expected but nonetheless it was a great experience. The driver was very friendly and chatty, he clearly knew the river and the boat. Business seems a bit slow, only four of us on the boat on our trip. Highly recommend supporting this iconic attraction.

The gorges around the city are breathtaking, so speeding around them in a jet boat is the best way to enjoy it. The drivers make you feel safe but they make sure you have fun, too. Loads of spins are turns and splashes. Excellent experience. Nadia our driver was great! Definitely do it, but don’t eat beforehand. Our shuttle to and from Shotover was really handy, and our driver (lovely Japanese lady) was the sweetest and very friendly.

This was my second time at Shotover Jet and it again did not disappoint. Super friendly staff, and driver Nick was a great laugh. Being a local I wanted to show some support during uncertain times with Covid. Awesome time, thank you! Will return again . Big love to the big reds! x
