Flying over the Central Plateau mountains lightly capped with snow was breath-taking. The river cruise was relaxing and informative and the guided tour of Sarah Island was the best part of the whole experience. Kiah, the guide, made the history come alive. The friendly crew looked after the guests superbly - great selection of beverages, the buffet lunch was delicious and the use of audio visuals to inform guests about the area was excellent. We were picked up from our accommodation and driven to the airport where we were met by our friendly pilot. After a quick trip from Hobart to Strahan we were then driven to meet up with the Gordon River Cruise. What a fabulous trip! Lots of information about the area, stopping off for a walk through a section of the National Park and a tour of Sarah Island. Great food and lovely staff.

The whole experience was fabulous. The flight from Cambridge presents beautiful views of Hobart sunrise and a great experience in itself. In about 50 minutes you reach Strahan and off you go to the Gordon river Cruise. Staff very friendly and efficient. Plenty of food and drink choices particularly if you have booked upper premium deck which includes Morning tea, Buffet lunch, afternoon tea and all day drinks. Great selection and quality is something commendable. The cruise presents unbelievable views through some of the most remote parts of the state in a luxurious way. If you have done this, you are surely missing out.

Our pilot greeted us with a smkle, took care of the paperwork and expertly flew the aircraft, dipping the wings gently to give us a better view and photo opportunities. Take off and landing perfect. Fantastic friendly, professional service. Thanks Luke and Par Avion for wonderful experience.
