Traveler Reviews

Great guide, very friendly, personable. John’s knowledge of the history of Hobart is extensive and fascinating. Definitely do this one!! Unfortunately the visibility at mt Wellington was zero when we go there, but still an amazing experience being up there.

Unfortunately due to roadworks on Pinnacle road the main road on Mt Wellington at the time of my bus tour, the bus tour would only being travelling as far as half way up the mountain. I would just like to commend the customer service I received regarding this, I was made well aware of changes well in advance of my tour and offered a full refund of the changes didn’t suit me, which I took as I was only intending to visit the summit. I look forward to rebooking the tour when I get a chance to travel to Hobart again.

If only the company could guarantee the weather! No view due to cloud, rain and blustering conditions. Saying that, we enjoy the day. The driver, Greg, was very knowledgeable and experienced. We learnt alot about the history and terrain, the bus was comfortable and modern, and fitted with the latest safety equipment. I would recommend the experience, who knows you may be lucky and have a clear day

Excellent service. It was wonderful to see snow on Mt Wellington in November! Amazing views and great commentary.

Love these buses and this one with the Mt Wellington tour was exceptional value. Spent 2 days exploring which was a great start to our holiday in Hobart then cruising around the rest of Tassie.
