Thoroughly enjoyed the trip up the mountain with Dave the driver/guide. As we were going to be walking down Mt Wellington, he pointed out the various walking track start/finish points and landmarks along the way. Would highly recommend the explorer bus.

We hired bikes from Brooke Street bike hire who were great in looking after us & booked a one way Mt Wellington explorer trip. Bike freight was free through Brooke Street bike hire & once up the top we rode down the mountain on the road (great coffee on the way down) then followed the rivulet ride into Hobart - beautiful ride & highly recommended for those who like a little adventure (& who doesn’t!)

Greg the bus guide went out of his way to make all guest welcome and was so helpful snd friendly. Gave us really good information on tracks to hike back to Hobart!

The company was amazing and their tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The bus was immaculate and very warm. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. Even though we did not see snow on that trip our tour guide tried to find a day during our stay that it may have happened.

Easy to book online and convenient departure point. We took our bikes to the top of Mount Wellington on the bus for the down hill ride. How majestic to be above the clouds on the top of Mount Wellington. So many walking paths to take from the top so if you like to hike best get up there early and dress for warmth! Our driver Tony was super friendly and really knowledgeable about Hobart giving us commentary (and some humour) along the way, he made the trip from Hobart very enjoyable.
