Traveler Reviews

I was alone on this tour and had a lovely time with Cengiz! I was worried it would be awkward as the only patron but less than halfway through it was like chatting with a (very knowledgeable!) friend instead of being with a tour guide. He was full of interesting information on both the food I was trying and Istanbul. Great guide, great food, great sites: Highly recommend!

I would give 6 starts if it was possible. The depth of knowledge and the always happy attitude from Hatice was contagious. Me and my wife used her services for 3 days in row. Extremely worth it when you in a country alone and don’t speak the language. The food was unique and superb. I encourage any family to go to Instanbul to hire Hatice. At the end of the tour you will realize you hired a friend not a tour.

Thank you Hakan for a great food tour, for tailoring our stops based on my food preferences and for showing me around some of the cool sites in the city!!

Fantastic tour!! Hatice was an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable about the city, it’s history, and has amazing taste in food (my husband and I are huge foodies). It’s a great way to walk through the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market with someone to point out the best places to shop. She even gave us a recommendation for dinner and it was one of the best meals I have had. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a feel for Istanbul and taste some authentic food!!
