Traveler Reviews

We had an amazing visit with Mustafa. We toured many of the major sites of Istanbul and he was incredibly knowledgeable. His English is flawless and he does an excellent job telling about Istanbul history, culture and the lives of local citizens during the tour. He took us to a small, family run restaurant for traditional food avoiding the kebab shops that fill Sultanamet. He was great at providing background on a place and then giving us time to wander by ourselves and explore, which we really enjoyed. One of the best guides we have ever had.

I did this wonderful tour of Istanbul for a day covering all major attractions on both Asian and European sides. Hatice is truly wonderful guide having immense experience about all the places. Her knowledge about the history of places is amazing and she is passionate about what she does. We did walking through lanes and by-lanes passing through various local markets and experience was purely magical with priceless conversations on the move. I highly recommend to use their services. Thoroughly professional. I used their services right from pickup from airport to drop at airport after the tour. Would definitely like to come back and spend more days here.

My family and I lost all hope of seeing Istanbul during our 20 hour layover after our flight was canceled and rebooked for 12 hours later. But Hatice saved our day! She AND her husband met us as soon as we landed and not only salvaged our remaining 8 hours, they made it a magical experience. We were able to catch the last hour of the Grand Bazaar, walk past the Blue Mosque, stop for ice cream on the street, tour the Hippodrome, and go to prayer at the Hagia Sophia. They also arranged a delicious rooftop dinner and private car back to the airport. I was thrilled beyond words that we were able to experience this little slice of Istanbul. Hatice’s historical knowledge, cultural pride and true kindness made me want more, so we are already planning our next trip - this time Turkey will not be a layover, but rather, our destination because of Hatice and her equally kind husband.

Hatice Kelek was fantastic for myself and my American pal Michael. We had made the arrangements ahead of time and she was fantastic. We visited on our walking tour exactly what she advised and ended up at the most amazing Hammam on Planet Earth. I have recommended Hatice Kelek to others since that delightful experience as has Mike. Do you research yourself and then let Hatice assist planning Exactly what to do with your time. She knows Everything!

I & My mom really enjoyed our time with Hatice. She took us to all the important sites in Istanbul. The Grand Bazaar, the spice bazaar, the blue mosque & My favorite place was the Hagia Sophia. She was really knowledgeable of history and culture She gave detail information about the sites we visited. She is very passionate about what she does. She was very knowledgeable about the city and took us wherever we wanted. We also had great conversations. I highly recommend Hatice as a tour guide. I would definitely choose her again.
