ItineraryThis hike is a must-do if you want to get the most out of your visit to Bergen. It is a medium 2-3 hour hike away from the crowds with great views of Bergen and the surrounding area. We hike literally on top of Bergen and go off the beaten track through woods, past lakes, and on paths where we can hear the silence.The hike requires some experience of hiking and has a medium difficulty level. Most of the hike is in uneven terrain that may be wet, so proper hiking shoes are required.You meet our guide in the centre of Bergen and make your way to the top of Mt Fløyen where the real hike starts. Above Mt Fløyen our guide will take you through untouched terrain, reaching some higher summits with amazing views of Bergen and the ocean surrounding it. Our guide is local and will be able to tell you about Norwegian culture, habits and history.After hiking for about 3 hours we will return to the town centre of Bergen and you can spend the rest of the day exploring Bergen town.Stop At: • Mount Floyen and the Funicular, Vetrelidsallmenningen 23A, Bergen 5014 Norway • Vidden Trail between Mt. Great tour, top surveillance, interesting talks. we've been with them for 3 days. Everything was well organised and they gavee good explanations.

Amazing views and friendly guide. It rained quite a lot but Frank was really nice about it and took us for a good walk with a coffee break

Frank is an excellent guide who know Bergen ?? well. He tailored the hiking trip to our condition and wishes. He showed us the best viewpoints and nice hiking trails off beaten path not touristy. He took the time even overtime. It was enjoyable and we learned also more about Bergen ??. Thank you a lot for your awesome hike. I hope next time to hike vidden trail. When you want to hike in Bergen, I recommend you to go with Frank.

We did the hike last Saturday with Frank and we’re having a very good time. Good hike, good conversations and I could take as many pictures as I want. He also adapted to what we want and we made a new route according to the group wish. I like to have local guide so I can learn more about the country itself. I would definitely use his service again for another hike.
