We had a great time. Very nice and helpful young men. I would recommend this tour for anyone that wants to learn about Tsukiji than wandering around by yourself.
Guide didn’t bother to show up and couldn’t be contacted, either by us or TripAdvisor/Viator on the day or in the three days since. Viator refunded my money, so glad I booked through them otherwise I’d still be out of pocket. Try another operator to tour this area.
Joined inspiring 1 hour walking tour around Tsukiji with a “Samurai”, his buddy, and with rental Happi jacket l became member of his tour. Dressed as a warrior he was naturally very popular among tourists, but personally knew local shop owners as well. Passionately introduced me to varieties of local seafood, fresh snacks, tea, sushi, and sake shops, shrines and their background history. Even gave me nice souvenir photo. Highly recommended!
These guys gave us memories which we will cherish throughout our life.It was feeling like a celebrity when walking with them.Everyone was clicking our pictures or eager to click with us. These tour guides are really friendly and polite.Every minute was worth spending with them. Strongly suggest everyone to experience it once while in Tokyo.
I would like to take the time to first thank the team at Samurai Walk for their exemplary service, friendliness, and experience. Having finally come home from a wonderful trip in Japan, my wife and I often look back with nostalgia at our favourite memories within the country; and it is no surprise that the Samurai Walk in Tsukiji was one of our highlights. Well equipped with humour, ENGLISH SPEAKING capabilities, and knowledge that allowed us to experience what you would call 'hidden gems' within the ever-popular Tsukiji Fish Market, made our experience one that was unique, and memorable. We got to try some of the finest seafoods recommended by the guys, and enjoyed being stopped by fellow tourists to take photos together. In a country where English is often not as popular in speech, it was such a relieving, and warm welcome to have these guys guide us around. I would best explain our experience as a guided tour of Tsukiji Fish Market with friends... who just so happen to be dresse
