Im großen und Ganzen war es gut. Aber leider sind wir keine 2 Stunden geritten. Es ging um 16.30Uhr los, zuerst am Strand entlang, dann durch eine Art Wald an einem leer stehenden Hotel vorbei, zurück an den Strand bis zum genannten Fluss. Leider keine Möglichkeit ab zusteigen. Danach wieder zurück mehr durch den Wald und an der Straße als am Strand. Kurz vor18 Uhr waren wir wieder an der Ranch. Den Sonnenuntergang haben wir dann auf der Rückfahrt aus dem Auto gesehen. Fausto der Guide war sehr nett und hat es uns auch zweimal kurz ermöglicht zu galoppieren. Ansonsten sind wir nur im Schritt gelaufen. Mit dem Abzug, dass wir keinen Sonnenuntergang hatten, viel im Wald waren statt am Strand und nur 1 1/2 statt 2 Stunden geritten sind hat es Spaß gemacht. Ob es sein Geld wert ist, dafür für was geworben wird und man am Ende erhält, möchte ich bezweifeln.

Yesterday we did a two hour tour starting at the country side of Punta Cana. We were riding along a beautiful scenery with mountains, rice and sugar cane fields. Later it became a but more jungle style and at the end of the ride we arrived at the beach. Amazing that these 3 sceneries are combined in 1 tour! Our tour started at 4pm which was perfect for us, not too warm. We had a very friendly guide who could speak some English as well. He was checking up with us all the time to see if we were okay. Frankly, thanks a lot for the great trip! We loved every second of the tour, the horses looked good and healthy. Definitely recommended!

3/5 is generous in my opinion from my experience here yesterday and here are the reason why: 1. The workers were not informative (wasn’t told what to wear, where we were going, how to even ride the horses, didn’t give us bug spray, driver was 30 min late and no one contacted my boyfriend and I) 2. Instead of the horses walking in a line the workers made them walk in packs which the horses did not like and they kept biting each other because they didn’t like being so close and one even bit my foot 3. This third one isn’t necessarily the ranches fault but we were also stuck with these children/ family that didn’t understand that this was suppose to be peaceful for everyone, the daughter kept throwing tantrums (mind you she was 9..) both mom and dad didn’t know how to control their horses (they had the biters) 4. I felt absolutely awful for the way those horses were exploited. They were dirty, thirsty, hungry, branded and sad. The beaches were also covered in garbage and seaweed. 5.

A nice experience for my kids and amazing for all of us. People were very friendly with everyone. Will definitely repeat it??
