Very interesting walk through Liverpools history. Friendly and knowledgeable guide (Peter) took us through both the early and the more recent history of this city.

I was the only who booked the tour that day, so, it was a treat from beginning to the end. The guide was informative, relaxed and full of micro-stories about Liverpool's history, its known and unknown citizens and how is the city doing in present time. We finished the tour at the Museum of Liverpool on the second floor with highlights of the exhibition about John Lenon and Yoko Ono. I am greatful for an extra minutes the guide spent explaining things around.

We started outside the new ferry terminal. My guide Jean was friendly and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the Liverpool river front. She had some really interesting stories about its history and fun personal stories which added to the experience. The walk was well paced, especially on such a cool day. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
