Traveler Reviews

We enjoyed a wonderful island tour with Mike - a real highlight of our time here. Mike is a true gentleman and generous with his time wanting us to enjoy as much of the island as possible. Having grown up on Barbados he really gave us an insight in to the island and its history. There are many island tours to choose from but I would say that Mike is hard to beat.. not only did we get to experience much of what Barbados has to offer but we thoroughly enjoyed Mike’s company too.. and he doubles up as an excellent barman when we stopped for rum punch overlooking the dramatic Atlantic coast!! Thanks so much Mike!

Mike was a wonderful tour guide he was raised on this island and knew what he was talking about would hire him again in heartbeat loved his tour

Mike picked us up from our hotel yesterday morning and took us on a brilliant tour of Barbados. It was filled with history, local information and personal stories from Mike who is a proud Barbadian. We saw spots all around the island from the Oval (a request of ours), Animal Flower caves, Rihannas house, Sandy Lane, St James church, cherry hill, Morgan Lewis windmill and some brilliant other stops along the way. All topped off with a local lunch spot and rum punch over looking the Atlantic. Mike was a brilliant host and so generous with his time, we really felt like we understood what Barbados is all about in such a short space of time. Sue was brilliant ahead of our tour incorporating a couple of places we wanted to visit additionally. Sorry Mike, one more 5* review to live up to!

Very pleasant, easy day with Mike who was a real gentleman. Warmly welcomed by Mike and Sue (who left us in Mike's capable hands for the day) and set off on our tour around Barbados and learnt a lot of new information about the island. Especially enjoyed the tour round Atlantic coast as we had not been there before. We stopped in a good local modern restaurant for lunch and had flying fish. Enjoyed all the stops and the pace was relaxed and indeed took longer than the allocated time as we had to wait longer for lunch so Mike made sure we didn't miss out on the tour around the East side of the island. Would highly recommended as we learnt a lot about Barbados, which clearly Mike is very proud of, in good company.

This is a great tour, conducted by Mike, a born & bred Barbadian. He takes you on a tour around the whole island, and you see more than just the tourist hotspots! He has a wealth of knowledge and you see and hear about the real Barbados! Nothing is too much trouble for Mike and he can tailor the tour to suit your requests. We didn’t want a run of the mill hotel organised trip, & this was exactly what we wanted. We had a great day with Mike & would thoroughly recommend this tour.
