Our guide was very knowledgeable and the transition of getting off the cruise to getting on the van was very straightforward. Cinderella was right there waiting for us. We even sampled the conch fritters which my daughter loved!

My wife and I wanted to avoid the "touristy stuff" and see the history and culture of the island. This tour fits the bill nicely. Our tour guide Charlie picked us up where our ship was docked and showed us around the island. We visited poor, middle class, and affluent areas, we picked up a conch shell, and even enjoyed some delicious conch fritters. Overall, a great experience.

The tour guide Charlie was the best part of the experience. Once again Tripadvisor did not disappoint. Charlie was waiting for us under the white tent where other shore excursions leave from after coming off of a cruise ship. His vehicle was parked nearby. He was dressed very warmly for such a hot day!! Very professional looking. His english was very good as well as his knowledge of the island and history. One of the first optional stops is to pick up conch shells. We had NO problem bringing home 4 of them. This was exceptional!! Don't drive by, check it out! We really really enjoyed the tour and he seems to know many (if not all) of the vendors on the island. He was able to track us down someone who could make fresh conch. Watching a local crack open a conch shell and prepare us a conch salad was one of the highlights of the tour and it wasn't even a designated stop - just something I mentioned that I had seen online when I was trying to figure out which tour to book. He took us there

This tour was excellent. Charlie was very informative and knowledgeable about the island. The fruit stand had the most ripe, sweet mangos and pineapple I have ever tasted. There is not much to do in Freeport but this made the trip worth it.

Charlie was extremely passionate and knowledgeable about all things Freeport. We were able to see local areas and experience the culture away from the tourist traps. If you are looking to see what bahamaian life off the resort is this is perfect.
