Traveler Reviews

As a first time solo traveller and been my first trip to Tasmania, I had no idea where to start looking! The Jump team took the stress away with their variety of tours which allowed me to see so much in so little time (without ever feeling rushed!). Affordable and great value for money, whilst still enjoying a clean and comfortable place to sleep in every night. Greg was so knowledgeable and informative about everywhere we went and everything we saw which made the whole experience even better, learning the history of the beautiful place that is Tasmania. The other travellers and all the locals were welcoming and friendly making me feel right at home! HIGHLY recommend booking a tour, especially if it’s your first time to Tassie or first time travelling solo, leave it to the experts!! Thanks for a great time Greg & the Jump team!! Can’t wait to return to Tassie.

Had a great time on my "5 Day Lap of Tassie" tour. Lots of long scenic drives and nature walks - perfect for me. Our guide Greg was friendly and super chill.

Excellent tour, great tour guide, just do it! Mountain climbing and waterfall visits and some great accommodation. The locals are fantastic people, and download a playlist of your favorite songs to share with everyone on the tour. A great experience. Highly recommended.

A most comprehensive and reasonable tour with main focus on exploring the natural beauty of Tasmania, The guides were friendly and accommodating, and the bus was comfortable with a trailer for luggage. Though it was geared towards backpackers, simple en-suite accommodations were also offered and we had a great mix of young students, youngish and older couples and singles (70-ish) and there was time for hiking and enjoying the outdoors even though we covered a lot of territory. We felt it was well paced - except the last day got a bit rushed as the first hike took longer than anticipated. Meals were not included but opportunities for grocery shopping and restaurant stops were provided every day. We had two guides who were both good though drafted at the last minute and that seems to be somewhat of a challenge for the operators. Another suggestion is to allow for an upgraded en-suite option for the bedrooms - at least at Tullah Lodge, which is otherwise has a lovely location and common

Great tour to see different parts of Tasmania with many nice walks. Thank you Stu for being a great guide, I had a wonderful time! We got to see much wildlife on the tour like the wombats close up at Cradle Mountain next to an echidna or the platypus At Lake St. Claire, but also really great and diverse nature. I especially enjoyed the rain forrest and the Bay of Fires. I would also recommend going to the wildlife sanctuary - feeding many kangaroos, seeing a few Tasmanian devils (even with babies), an albino peacock, etc. The accommodation is dorms in hostels (or the shack) and we always made stops where you could buy lunch/dinner or go to a supermarket.
