Traveler Reviews

My wife and I took this tour in 1/15/21. We were surprised to learn that we were the only ones to have booked the tour. To Jill’s credit, she did not cancel or reschedule the tour as other tour companies do. Also, rain was forecast and could have been a problem. We grabbed our raincoats and umbrellas and carried on. We did get rain, but not enough to make us stop. My wife and I grew up in the Charleston area, but moved away over 40 years ago. Jill was able to work with this and tailor the tour to our level of knowledge about the area. She taught a great deal about how the elite class of Charleston’s first 200 years lived their lives. She also specialized in gardens and plants. My wife loved that part of the tour. I was much more interested in buildings and wrought iron works. She did a great job with those as well. Everything was interesting. Jill presented Charleston in a way that we had not experienced before. The Gibbes Art Gallery part of the tour came at the

Jill is a delightful and knowledgeable guide. We chose her based on the reviews and are happy we did. Any tour with her would be interesting and fun. She is very relaxed as well as capable and makes adaptations to fit the group. The galleries we visited were delightful and truly eclectic and were ones we would not have found on our own. Charleston’s’ beautiful homes and gardens can only be enjoyed on foot, so put on your walking shoes and book a fun and fascinating tour with Jill. Highly recommended!

This was the absolute best tour I have ever been on ! Jill was absolutely fantastic - as a matter of fact we have planned a return trip to Charleston just to attend another one of the many special tours she offers. You will not be disappointed if you book an adventure with her - fantastic !!

High Society of Charleston- Jill was very knowledgeable and charismatic. I enjoyed her stories and learned a lot. I felt the tour was overpriced for what we saw.
