Danny and his son Samuel were awesome hosts. They showed up on time, took me to the animal sanctuary in Azul, souvenir shopping in Sarch and took me to a local popular restaurant where there recommended awesome Costa Rican dishes to try. It was a good day and would definitely recommend. They showed up in a 9 pax van and it was just myself and my friend. The van was clean, spacious and the a/c was always blowing.

My nieces, mom, and I recently completed this tour. They were quick in contacting me immediately after the booking. After a small hiccup due to an error in the tour listing, the general manager José went above and beyond in making sure we were satisfied...and we were! We really did feel like we were out and about with a local friend. Our driver was friendly and safe and new the shortcuts to prevent getting stuck in traffic. Wow this morning trip made my five year old daughter’s year as it’s been her longtime dream to reel in a live fish! Our driver guide Danny was great. Knew Poas, a wonderful strawberry restaurant and the gorgeous Starbucks farm. Moreover, he went out of his way to find and get us to the trout fishing we said we’d maybe seen on the side of the road-and then took these action (and scenic) shots to share which I really appreciated bc I don’t take many photos.
